During the fourth quarter of 2023, the top five air travel apps in Germany exhibited notable trends in downloads, active users, and revenue. Here’s a detailed look at their performance based on Sensor Tower data.

Lufthansa saw a steady growth in downloads, beginning the quarter with approximately 25K downloads and ending with around 40K in the last week of December. Weekly active users for Lufthansa increased significantly from 167K to 213K over the same period.

Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker experienced a consistent revenue stream, peaking at $34K in late September and maintaining around $28K by the end of December. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 31K and closing the quarter at 28K. The app's weekly active users peaked at 203K in early October but saw a decrease to 171K by the end of December.

Ryanair maintained a stable download rate throughout the quarter, with numbers ranging from 30K in late September to about 21K in the last week of December. Weekly active users for Ryanair showed a slight decline from 141K to 136K during this time.

Eurowings downloads decreased from 22K at the start of the quarter to around 11K by the end of December. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, dropping from 51K to 28K over the same period.
